Description
Dosage & Administration:
-
- Injection Site: Administer the vaccine subcutaneously on the lateral side of the upper neck.
- Primary Vaccination: For sheep that have not previously received Ovipast Plus, administer two doses of 2 ml each, with the doses spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
- Booster Vaccination: After the initial vaccination, booster doses should be given at intervals of no more than 12 months.
- Breeding Ewes: For adult breeding ewes, administer the annual booster during the pre-lambing period, ideally 4-6 weeks before lambing, to help control pasteurellosis in their lambs.
- High-Incidence Areas: On farms where pasteurellosis is frequently encountered, a supplementary booster may be necessary 2-3 weeks before expected seasonal outbreaks.
Ovipast Plus plays a critical role in managing pasteurellosis, ensuring better health and productivity in sheep by reducing the incidence and severity of this disease.
